I started smoking when I was a teenager so I have been smoking for over 35 years and have been driving over the road for 29 years. Over the years I have tried several different things that is supposed to help you quit smoking, the nicotine gum, nicotine patches, smoke away & the pill called Chantix from the doctor. The Chantix did work for me for a while but between the weird dreams and upset stomach I started back smoking. Most people don’t quit bad habits like smoking, they just replace them with another bad habit. I replaced my smoking with gum, hard candy, candy bars, cakes, & etc. So I gained several pounds and started back smoking after a short time anyway. Even if you don’t drive for a living , you know most people smoke more while they are driving. Smokers are usually calmer drivers.
When I first tried the Electronic Cigarette, I had two packs of regular cigarettes left from a carton I had so I admit I did not cold turkey to the E- cigarette.
